QUALITY OF LIFE

WHAT A YEAR!  In my 11th year as an independent quality consultant (how lucky am I?), I'm still crazy about quality!  I love to tackle what many consider a "necessary evil" and turn it into a real value-added activity for businesses.  And it's not just about reading (boring) standards like #ISO9001, #ISO14001, #ISO45001, #AS9100, #IATF16949 or writing boring documentation like procedures and work instructions.  I get the privilege of partnering with businesses to help them achieve #ISO9001 certification (and others), but to actually help them improve their businesses too!

In addition, I've also dedicated my time to lots of other quality activities throughout the year.

I was published as a woman influencer in quality.

As a part of International Women’s Day, I was featured as a representative of the United States in their article “Women Shaping Quality”.

I was a speaker on the international stage.

At the ISO TC 176 World Plenary in Lima, Peru, I was featured as a speaker at the “Industry and MSME (Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) Forum”.

 I convened a working group of experts publishing ISO International quality standards for the global community.

I led ISO TC 176 WG2 in its project to review and revise International Standard ISO 9000, which is now in its final stages and expected to publish in 2026.

Meanwhile I was helping small businesses implement quality systems and improve their businesses for real.

I’ve been successful as an independent consultant now for 11 years and the future looks bright!  I partner with small and medium businesses across many sectors around the world who share my passion for quality.  And together, we are creating simple, yet robust quality systems that are easy to sustain, easy to scale and easy to integrate into daily workplace operations.

The connections I’ve made within my business as well as within the international quality community continue to challenge, mentor and inspire me.  I learn something new every single day and am still surprised by how excited I am to go to work every morning.

I’m very excited to continue to explore the world (and the world of quality) in a profession I’ve spent a lifetime building.  Stay tuned!
